A stunning route on a stunning day. From the cobbles you head out towards Betchton, Fourlanes End and Martin's Moss to Brookhouse Moss, one of the mosses left by the Ice Age round here.
The way back comes through Mossend, Arclid and past the quarry at Sandbach Heath. Nine miles of fields, lanes and wide skies.
