A lovely run along the River Weaver, all off road in the Cheshire countryside. You start on Mill Lane by the swing bridge at the edge of Frodsham, where the river becomes the Weaver Navigation near the end of its journey to the Ship Canal and the Mersey.
The Weaver has a path on both banks, so you go out one side to Dutton Locks, under the great Dutton viaduct, and come back down the other. Just under ten miles.
