Not to be confused with Marbury near Northwich, this Marbury sits between Nantwich and Whitchurch, and you won't find a prettier village. The Swan has had lots of good comments about its food.
There are two meres, Big Mere and Little Mere, which are kettle holes left by melting ice blocks at the end of the Ice Age. The route climbs to Wirswall on the Shropshire border for the views, then comes back along the Llangollen Canal.
