A seven mile circular round the old salt town of Middlewich. You go down the Croxton trail and along the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal into town.
Then there's a three mile circuit over the fields behind the British Salt works, before you rejoin the Trent and Mersey Canal for the final leg.
