Parkgate to Thurstaston Shoreline
The Dee estuary shoreline from Parkgate to Thurstaston, the missing link in my continuous coastal run from Aberdaron to Birkenhead.

I'd run this bit before, but only down the Wirral Way. Following the shoreline instead is much more of an adventure, with stunning views across the Dee to Wales. Finishing it meant I'd run continuously all the way from Aberdaron to Birkenhead.
You start on the front at Parkgate, once a port for ships to Ireland, past the Boathouse, which has been a café since 1926 and is a good spot for a drink afterwards. Then it's along the shore of the estuary to Thurstaston and its sandstone cliffs.
