Elworth & Moston Flashes - a 4 mile circular route

I’m going to track this route through a 12 month cycle to show just how special the connection with the turning of the seasons can be but to start with let’s show you the route.

Starting in Elworth we head down Moss lane passing the site of the Fodens Factory and test track which is now housing and on to the Trent & Mersey canal at Moston. From here we do a 3 mile loop taking in Watch lane Flash and then heading around via the path over the fields which are currently full of sweetcorn and then passing The Moat Nature Reserve back to the canal.

Along the way we tell the tale of the Moston Dragon, the last dragon seen in England. I should probably do a video just about that at some point.. anyway hope you enjoy it
