Prestatyn to Abergele - 9.75 mile One Way Route Back on the train

Hope you love this one, it’s just for you guys on Patreon. Starting from Prestatyn Train Station we run down to the promenade and follow cycle route 5 through Prestatyn, Rhyl, Kinmel Bay ending at the train station at Abergele.

The Route

Really simple route to follow this, from the starting point head through the park and up to Marine Drive and turn right. At the right hand bend turn left into Barkby Avenue, cross the road and take the path to the beach. Head onto the prom and turn left. 

Note as you approach Rhyl (by the golf course) the prom is currently shut (until autumn 2022) so follow the marked diversion left and then right onto Rhyl Coast Road. Then right into Garford Road and left into Eaton Avenue. At the end of the road turn right back onto the road by the seafront until you reach Pavilion Theatre (where the sun centre used to be) turn right and then left onto the Prom. 

Follow the prom through Rhyl you will eventually reach a bridge on your right that continues along the shore at Kinmel Bay. Just keep following the path until you eventually reach Abergele train station.
