Run / Walk Sandbach, Cheshire | 6 mile circular route over the fields to Hassall Green

Todays run is a beautiful 6 mile route starting at the cobbles in Sandbach. Sandbach is a beautiful historic market town located just off junction 17 of the M6. Come for the walk, stay for the shops, pubs and cafes. Once lockdown is over, The Old Hall Hotel, The George (Wetherspoons) and the Wheatsheaf to name but a few are worth a visit.

The Route

The circular route heads across the fields to Houndings Lane and on via the footpath past Tall Chimneys to Hassall Green. We then head back via the green lane to the A533 and take the path that leads to the old airfield and the sand quarry. Exiting onto Reynolds Lane we head down Church lane to Sandbach Heath and then down the footpath to Hawthorne drive and down the hill back into Sandbach town centre.
