HOW TO START RUNNING WHEN OUT OF SHAPE / OVERWEIGHT | Running tips 0-50 miles per week

Would you like to start running? Are you out of shape / overweight?

This approach would suit whether you’ve:

  • never run before and want to get started
  • or you’re an older runner who is circling the drain and getting slower and slower and considering giving up
  • or perhaps your running has stagnated, you’ve done a coach to 5k program but are struggling to increase your mileage and pace

Start or improve your running pace

Watch the video now where I describe how I improved my running pace by over 3 minutes per mile in 6 months by adopting a MAF training approach. Do all your running in your maximum aerobic zone which will allow you to increase both the volume and frequency of your training and thereby improve dramatically quickly. All thats required is the determination to train slow so that you can build your aerobic base. Come race day, open the taps and run faster than you’ve run in years.
