I’m in my happy place today running along the beach, we’re picking up the coastal adventure starting from where the adventure began in Prestatyn and running in the other direction along the shore at Prestatyn and over the dunes to Presthaven sands and on to the lighthouse at Talacre and as far as we can get on the beach at the point of Ayr. The coastal path then heads past the site of the old colliery and the gas terminal, through Ffynnongroyw and along the road to Mostyn Docks then along a track beside the estuary to the Duke of Lancaster Ship a total distance of 10.6 miles. I can highly recommend a visit, I absolutely loved it. Go on have your own micro adventure.
This was really easy, the bus stops on the road directly opposite the dock where we finish and there is a bus running every 20-30 minutes during the day, a single to Prestatyn cost me £4.50
No need for directions today just follow the well marked Wales Coastal Path
I parked in the pay and display car park on the front at Prestatyn
