Today on Run Adventurer, we’re in Biddulph in Staffordshire starting our route from Biddulph Grange Country Park on a cold autumn day at sunrise. The mist was rising and the sun was low, it was stunning.
We head up through the country park and then out into the surrounding countryside with fantastic views of Mow Cop, Congleton Edge we then loop around over the fields before heading back into the country park for a lap of the pool near the top of the park.
From the car park head up the main path then fork off right after the little bridge and follow the path up to Hurst Road and turn right. After the bend take the track on your left and then take the path on your left. Follow the path along the ridge then take the path left to the lane and turn left. At the left hand bend take the track on your right then the path on your left and follow it to the farm then head down the track to Biddulph Common Road and turn left. Now turn right on Biddulph Park road and then left on Pines Lane. Now take the path on your left and follow it down the hill to Overton Road. Turn right down the hill then take the path on your left. At the woods bear left then up to the wall and over into the field. At the end of the field turn left on the farm track then after the gate bear right away from the track to the stile and go straight on over the field to Overton Road and turn right. Now take a left back into Hurst Road then take the path on the right back into the country park, follow the path down hill to the visitors centre. Now take a left up the hill to the pond at the top of the park, turning left and around the edge before dropping back down the hill to the starting point.
