A stroll from Corbet Wood up Grinshill through to Clive, Shropshire

Follow along as we take a walk starting at Corbet Wood which is located a couple of miles off the Whitchurch / Shrewsbury road. Much of the stone used for the construction of the major building in Shrewsbury came from here including both the English and Welsh bridges. Also at the top of the hill flint tools and arrowheads have been found so we’ve been visiting this spot for a long time. Also Darwin explored the area fascinated by the fossil footprints. We head up to the top of the hill for a fantastic view then along to Clive heading through the church yard and along the path that skirts the hill to Grinshill before climbing back up to our starting point. Well worth a visit, a big thank you to Phil and Levi for showing me the way.
