Audlem & Swanbach, Cheshire - A Boxing Day Morning Run

Getting out for a run first thing on Boxing Day when you are still full of food from Christmas Day is a challenge but one that you are often rewarded for with a beautiful sunrise.

On Boxing Day 2023, I headed south of Nantwich to the village of Audlem and picked up the Shropshire Union Canal and followed it a mile south to Swanbach, did a lap of the hamlet of Swanbach then headed back up Bagley lane then left on Wood Orchard lane and left on the path back into Audlem. Total route was 3.5 miles.

Well worth a visit, whatever day of the year it is.
