Exploring with the Canal Runner - Spaghetti Junction, Birmingham

Follow along as we explore the maze of canals around Birmingham. Starting from Aston near the Aston Villa Football Ground, we run down the Digbeth Branch canal from the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal to it’s end by the old Typhoo Tea factory then along the Grand Union Canal Digbeth Branch and onto the Grand Union Canal to meet the Tame Valley Canal under the M5 at Spaghetti Junction. 

There was some fantastic graffiti and it was interesting to see Birmingham from a different perspective more how traffic flowed one hundred years ago.
