It was lovely to sit down and have a chat with Adrian Wooton AKA ‘The Canal Runner’ who has taken on the epic challenge of running the entire 2200 miles of the UK’s connected canal network. He’s a little over 500 miles in at this point and has run canals across the Northwest including The Shropshire Union Canal, The Trent and Mersey Canal, Caldon Canal, Manchester Bolton Bury Canal, Montgomery Canal, Grand Union Canal, Huddersfield Narrow Canal as well as the Union Canal near Edinburgh in Scotland.
