Today on Run Adventurer, we’re in Tattenhall in Cheshire. Located South East of Chester not far from Beeston Castle, Tattenhall is a beautiful Cheshire village dating back to the 5th Century. There is a lovely 16th Century Church (St. Alban’s) and a couple of pubs to visit at the end of your walk/ run and if you need additional incentives we pass the Ice Cream Farm, with more than 50 flavours of delicious Cheshire Ice Cream available in the worlds largest ice cream parlour, its a popular tourist attraction a great place for kids to play and enjoy an ice cream.
Head up High Street and then turn left into Church Bank. Head through the grounds of the church to the path on the far side and turn right. At Chester Road turn right and go straight on back to the High Street at The Sportsman Arms Pub / Letters Inn then turn left on Burwardsley Road. Take the second path on your left and follow it across the fields to Newton Lane. Turn left and follow the lane past the Ice Cream Farm to the Crossroads with Tattenhall Road. Go straight on and take the path on your left. Follow the path over the fields to Chester Road. Turn left and then right into Ravensholme Lane and follow the Millennium Mile path which eventually comes out on High Street where we turn left back to our starting point.
