PATREON EXCLUSIVE: Llangollen Riverside Circular

What a beautiful place, for this months patreon exclusive we are exploring Llangollen.

We start from the car park at the Horseshoe falls Berwyn which costs £1 for 2 hours or £3 for the day (at the time of filming feb 2023). We head down to the falls on the river Dee and then pick up the path towards Llangollen from where the Llangollen canal ends. The river feeds the canal, it’s the cleanest canal water I’ve ever seen. The path runs alongside the canal with the river to our right. We follow it to Llangollen and then head into town coming out by the train station. We cross the bridge and then take Dee Lane right and then onto the path on the right alongside the river to Aldi. We take the track up the hill opposite Aldi then turn right down the lane and the footpath to our right which heads out through Inman’s Wood. At the far end turn left and then take the path right down through the woods. At the bottom turn right and then take the path on the left to the main road. Turn left and then take the path right just before the train station which drops down to the Chain Bridge. Cross the bridge to the Chainbridge Hotel and then turn left back along the canal the way we came.
