Low Carb Chicken Chow Mein | Keto Recipes

I’ve got a hankering for chinese food, so join me as we make something not too dissimilar to a chicken chow mein but suitable for people on a low carb / keto diet.

 

Ingredients (makes 3 servings ~9g carbs per portion)

600g chicken thigh fillets
400g bag of beansprouts
320g pack oriental stir fry (aldi or equivalent)
2 chicken stockpots
1 dessert spoon ginger*
1 dessert spoon chilli flakes*
1 dessert spoon garlic granules or garlic puree (or both)*
1/2 dessert spoon arrowroot

*season as desired, I’m in my 50’s and like it spicy.
